Retro is an Architectural and Interior Design consultancy company situated in Dhaka Bangladesh. The company was established back in 2005 by its Principal Ar. Rahat M Choudhury after completing his Masters in Architectural Design from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Since that time the company grew up with its focus into sustainable smart as well as purpose driven Architectural projects throughout the country. Till date Retro has completed a good number of energy efficient industrial projects with LEED certification by the USGBC. Apart from design solutions the company has also developed capability in the area of industrial process solution and technology sourcing with the help of technical collaboration among overseas partners. Among other areas of project capabilities Residential and Commercial projects are also practiced.

Architect Rahat Mahmud Choudhury did his Master Degree in Architectural Design at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia with a special focus on Sustainable Design (SusD) Solution back in 2004. Prior to that he did his Under Graduate in Architecture from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology, Dhaka in 1997. Apart from working as an Architect he had also worked extensively in the area of Graphics and Visual Communication. Fine Arts, Film and Global Affairs are among other areas of his interest. He is the Principal Architect and founder CEO of Retro.
